Why Should I choose WPB Soccer?

-We are the biggest league in South Florida and have been around for a long time. 24+ teams over 3 divisions

-Our players and Captains have say on how the league is run. When we are going to change something we contact the captains and let them vote on it first.

-We are the only league that offers relegation and promotion between divisions

-We have the best available referees in the county

-We don’t raise prices. We have been the same price for over 10 years. We keep our overhead low so we can make soccer more affordable to you. Our team fee is $600. Other team fees in the area range from $850 - $1000. We don’t need a fancy website so we can charge you more money. Let’s concentrate on playing soccer and not making money.

- We are a not for profit soccer league. Majority of our money goes to local charities, sponsoring local youth programs and helping build communities. We have provided brand new sports uniforms to local under funded schools. We do an Annual Toy Drive/ Pub Crawl every Christmas, give whole team registrations to charity silent auctions, donate and work with Little Smiles, Donate to Susan G Komen and the homeless coalition, sponsor local kids in Marathons. We don’t just build teams and leagues, we build communities.

I don’t have a team, how do I find one?

No team? No problem. Just sign up as a free agent and we’ll find you a team. Free agents usually go into Division B teams.

What is provided for Free Agents?

Every Free agent gets a team jersey and a minimum of 9 games.

How do I know if games are cancelled due to weather?

Always check the website before you leave your house. If games are canceled it will be on the homepage. Also like us on Facebook to keep up to date with announcements.

I’m just starting to play soccer which division should I join?

The lowest Division we have. Division A is the most competitive league we offer. We will be growing to Div A, B and c.

Why would a team forfeit?

A team will have to forfeit a game if they have less than 5 players 5 minutes past the scheduled kick off time. A team will forfeit a game if they are caught playing an ineligible player ( A player from another team ). A team will forfeit a game if they are overly aggressive and abusive towards a referee. The opposition will get a 3-0 win.

How do I become a captain of a free agent team?

Contact Gary or Sean before the season starts. wpbsoccer@hotmail.com

Is there a party afterwards?

Yes our league sponsor O’Shea’s Irish Bar provides each team with a free pitcher of beer after every game. They also have bottomless bloody mary’s, mimosa’s and bellinis from 10am - 3pm. They also serve breakfast, lunch and brunch.

Can I play on 2 different teams in 2 different divisions?

Absolutely not. In the interest of fairness You can only play on 1 team. If you are found out to be playing on another team or jump in to help out another team, that team will automatically forfeit that game 3-0.

Is this is a men’s league or women’s league?

We offer a men’s league. We also help the city of WPB with their CoEd 7v7 league on Tuesdays and we have connections with other leagues that cater to Women’s only and Co-Ed. Feel free to ask us about the other league.
